Upcoming Events for 2009/2010

Since our BIG Event February 25th, alot has been going on. Members Robert and Erin Kobel and Ryan Soulard traveled down to Missouri to Hunt Snow Geese, Kevin Bouwman, Chris Simpson, and Dan Yost travled to Iowa for Snows and several members have been out hitting the rivers and lakes in pursuit of Trout, Walleye, and More!
Most recently, Casey VanDyke traveled to Southeast Michigan to retrieve 40 Mallard Nesting Tubes (Hen Houses). This is part of a joint project with the South Carolina Waterfowl Association and the Southeast Michigan Chapter of Waterfowl USA. Hen houses were distributed to members and were placed throughout West and Southwest Michigan. This is part of a 3 year study and the hen houses will be monitored for nesting rates and success.
We are currently busy planning and brainstorming for upcoming events, including our 2010 Youth Event which is sure to be bigger and better than ever! If you want to come and check us out, our meeting times are listed below!
